Latest news I head for operations on my knees

Latest news is that I am heading to the hospital on Friday the 5th of March
To have both my knees operated on. I had a scan on my knee about two weeks ago and they found that it has been my knee has been the problem not so much my accident last year, but this was still affecting the knee but this has calmed down after a few weeks of complete rest. So then we found that there is quite a few things up with the knee, so I went to see a surgeon Gordon McKay at Rosshall hospital in Glasgow. The outcome was that my right knee has a tear of the posterior horn medial meniscus and also swelling of the MCL also a joint effusion and a few other things that he said he can clean up and fix, then he looked at my left knee because I had been getting a few pains in it too and he thinks it will be worth a quick clean up in it too so I am having both knees operated on this Friday. I hope this will get me back for the start of next season. In perfect working form.

But now I am just looking forward to the next four years there are 2 world championships and then the big one -the Olympics in Russia. I just need to come back better and stronger.
The last few months

Hi everyone I am sorry for the long time with no update, I have been a little down about everything that has happened with my skiing over the last few months and the last year with everything that has gone on. To update everyone on my last few months, I went out to Canada for a few days and I did the two training runs in Lake Louise, and my Skiing was going good I was feeling very happy to be back on the Downhill course. The day came of the race and I had a lot of pain in my knee in inspection and then even more in free skiing, we then came to the decision that I would fly back home and sort out the problem with the physio and doctors in Aberdeen. This was around the 14th of December.
After getting home I was straight into the physio, I started off doing a few sessions of physio a week and some strength sessions in the gym and some bike. This did not work and I was getting more pain so after that I was told to have 3 weeks complete rest, this was a very frustrating time especially with the Olympics about to start and the thoughts of what might have been. So after those three weeks this had not worked either I was still getting pain around my knee so I was sent in for a scan on Monday the 15th of Feb. And now I am just waiting for the results so I can plan what I am going to do in the next few weeks.
